Since the other thread is only for admins I figured i start this thread here. Place suggestion below, thanks!
Im liking 24/7 day time and judging by the number of players we have on now since switching to both Password and 24/7 day, many others do as well.

post opinions here about the 24/7 daylight vs. real time day/night cycle
thanks you everyone who has been playing here, DONT FORGET, if anyone has a problem/issue with the server or a fellow player. I would like it if you would post it here for discussion/resolution....or PM me if you dont want your issue public.
Hopefully you all know by now......I'm here to help and make things enjoyable.

I think maybe a week by week rotation of:
24/7 day
24/7 night
Eastern standard TZ (GMT-5)
GMT+7
I honestly hate 24/7 day, but I understand many love it. I prefer night without NV goggles, I feel more immersed in the gameplay. 24/7 night if its even an option, would eliminate the one shot to the toe, from 1.6km out, deaths. This also would allow for setting up ambushes on roads etc and not be seen from a mile away. If NV goggles were taken away for this week that would be cool too. Some may say the dark is for noobs who can't manage zed agro, to this I reply, I play DayZ for the human interaction not the A.I. killing minigame. Night time inhibits yet increases your vision. you can't see far, yet you see players chemlights campfires flash lights flares etc all to well. this gives advantage to both sides of the humanity scale.

thank you very much for your input. this has always been a very hot topic. i'm always trying to balance it out. its a very large part of this game (day/night)

I think that I would prefer to play 24/7 night also, as long as we don't start with NV goggles.
EDIT: That is to say, I think that 24/7 night would be pointless if we just auto-start with NV goggles.

I dont mind playing at night, but it does get to be the "same ol, same ol" every night.. Having your play-time restricted by Real Life limits me to playing Day-Z in Night mode all the time.
Maybe if you could cycle day/night Faster? If day/night transitioned every... oh.. 8 hours.. this would end up off-setting people's day/night playing conditions..
