New daylight/nighttime system idea

Hello, I remember about a week ago I joined the server and it would get dark. I loved when it would get dark and I would really like it back. I was wondering if it would be possible to make the daytime be about 30minutes and the nighttime 30minutes. That way it is equal and short but you also get the same effect.

i only did the 24/7 daylight for the week, we will soon go back to our normal realtime cycle.

and then every so often I will activate 24/7 day just to keep things different, and so all players get a chance to play in both day and night.
