Let's play together.

If anyone is interested I wanna play DayZ with anyone from this forum who wants to play. I was thinking we could find a private hive that we could form a group on and play on together. If you guys are interested post on this topic and let me know. It would be nice if you had Skype or know a Vent server we can use to talk on while we play, but it's obviously not a requirement.

Also I have not picked a server yet. But If any of you guys already play on a good one post it in the chat and we will decide which one is best. In the meantime I'll search for a server that's good to play on.

If you do think you have a good server just keep in mind these few things that should it should contain.

Good Player Count

Does not matter what to me if it's a different form of the mod (eg. DayZero, Overwatch, Origins, etc) so long as everyone is down for it.

Let's try and keep it close to vanilla as possible for the type of mod we're going to play. (No 100000 vehicle servers, No over the top starting gear, No military barracks every 10ft.) Although their can be exceptions to this so long as they don't completely blow it out of the water, Like how the Den's was modded, yet not over the top.


I hope to play with you guys and start a nice group that we can play until Standalone comes out and if The Den does come back for SA then we can come back and play here, but if not we can all find a new server together and keep our group.

I've been playing on a (apart from some extra buildings @ NWA) Vanilla DayZ server.

It's a german server called "Die Phylosoffische spielweise"

I'm from the Netherlands and I've never had any problems with hing ping on the Den it could be a problem for Muricahns (!!) wanting to play on a German server

Server has massive population (20-50 players) and from what I have experienced pretty decent admins (helped me out when my body glitched). Ofcourse not as good as Skeeter but we are a bit spoiled if it comes to admins

The server seems alright so far, no 500+ helicopter, spawn with rangefinder + DMR crap. West coast residents may suffer from a 200+ ping but I don't think it's that much of an issue in DayZ.

Gave it a try, It's pretty good. Although I'm going to look for an alternative server anyways just because idk if we all speak German here(I don't), but I know we all speak English.

Checking out this server right now called Awkack. It's whitelisted but it's easy to register and seems to be pretty good and a good amount of people playing. It's actually hosted in Germany as well so you Europeans should get decent ping.

Alright we should give a try then. Do you guys have a skype or something I can reach you or have a certain time that you want to get on and play?

EDIT: So I spawned at Balota, found an M14 in the ATC station, ran up to Zelenogorsk and killed a team of 3, so I'm pretty geared now for when we play.

I'm working on setting up a server for DayZ standalone if anyone is interested. I've sort of retired from DayZ so I won't be playing on the server. If anyone is interested in having a home server you're all welcome to join it.
