RECENT FIXES for 1.7.7/1.7.7.1
OUR RECENT FIXES for 1.7.7/1.7.7.1
These fixes are exclusive to the Hunters Den.....dayz developers get ZERO CREDIT, after roughly 18 hours I have fixed many of the annoying changes that were made to 1.7.7
I'm only getting started, I'm determined to get them all fixed. I just started with some of the bigger issues 1st.

1. FIXED - Infection rates (This is a work in progress, but after testing this fix with 3 hours of normal gameplay in Cherno. I'm very pleased to add this to main server. You should notice right away that you wont be getting infected with every other hit from a zombie. Please give feedback, because I can tweak it more)
2. FIXED - Loot Spawning (Also A very large "work in progress", I'm really excited about this fix. Anyone who has played 1.7.7 knows that loot has become very hard to find. Sometimes hardly any loot would spawn in grocery stores, firehouse, etc. Well, I've been successful at fixing this annoying problem. I may need to mess with it more, for example if you guys think I have too much loot spawning.....please let me know.
3. FIXED - 30 second logout timer (We had to do the same thing in last version, I changed it back to the 10 seconds we are all used to)

4. FIXED - TENTS (Tents were very broken. Turns out if you placed a new tent and stay alive it would work perfect. But the moment you died.......it would break the tent. Problem found and fixed.)

5. FIXED - PLACING TENTS (With the 1.7.7 updates, heavy restrictions were put in place to stop people from placing tents in certain places. For example you could no longer hide tents in pine trees, or near any object for that matter. It took me a little longer than planned, but those restrictions are no gone. You can now place tents like you could in 1.7.6.1)
**These were the biggest problems, after fixing these, its already starting to feel like 1.7.6.1 again. We still have more things to fix and work on. I want to address the dynamics around heli crashes and "infected camps" next. So please keep checking back here for more information on what is being fixed.
(many random kicks have been fixed as well. if you get kicked for something, write down exactly what it says. this stuff can be fixed quickly and easily on the fly)

also- right now I'm just hurrying to get loot spawning better. after that i'm going to be adding some new weapons to the loot table. (helicrashes, infected camps, and barracks)

things are going well. as soon as things are stable again. then we will bring back all the other addons we had before the update. along with some new stuff. I will soon update the custom skin list with what works with 1.7.7 we lost some and gained some different ones. Same story with weapons, we lost some.....but also have some new ones that will work.
please report any problems in the report thread in general discussion. it helps me to know what is causing the most trouble.

still making very nice progress on fixing the 1.7.7 problems
even though today was rough with servers crashing, and switching datacenters
please keep reporting problems as soon as you encounter them
1 by 1 we will get them sorted out.

things are very stable at the moment guys
all the above fixes have been confirmed to be working perfect
only things left are little things (mainly preferences and addons..... not bugs)

please let me know what the loot is like ingame. i can now tweak loot spawns across the map. (used to just be able to change loot, but not the percentages/chances of it spawning)
for example got reports of too many DMR's, was able to fix it quickly and easily.
so if you guys see any certain weapon spawning too often. please let me know. otherwise i wont know what to tweak.
when it comes to the loot spawning. please keep me informed on whats happening ingame, you guys know this WAY BETTER than me. your the ones finding the loot, you know what you find too often.

still having late night loot spawning issues as well as firestations not spawning anything at times

the only way to fix the late night issue is to restart the server closer to mignight
this has been a issue for last 3 versions. nothing can be done to fix it, other than restarting the server at 12:15 or so.
no loot spawning in firestation? would this be after midnight? loot spawning is tricky, sometimes you have to get pretty crafty to make loot spawn sometimes in this game. but overall i'm happy with it, other than after midnight.
to have server restart at 12:15-12:30, we would have to change our daily restarts from 7:30 pm to 6:30 pm. for example

Would restarting every 3 or 4 hours help?
I only noticed there was no loot spawning in de barracks at NEA (the custom one) 2 days ago, but don't know if that was a one time glitch
other than that I haven't seen/noticed any spawn problems

1.7.7.1 is now live. so update your clients please.
I'll have all of the above fixes back in place in about 1 hour (not even tht long)
