NPCs at Skalisty/NEAF
Was just thinking how cool it would be if the NEAF or Skalisty was cleared of Zeds and instead replaced with NPCs such as the ones in Origin. their far enough away where Bambis aren't gonna get mowed down and it would probably make either of those places the hottest area on the map. Is this possible? Cuz I don't generally like mowing down players for their gear... but sometimes I will.

I've been thinking about this for a while, some servers were doing it before origins. I always liked the idea.
The weekends is when I can sit and really dig into things.
Gonna look into all the suggestions.

well today sucked for trying to get any "server work" done
sometimes life can be a major pain in my ass
but thats why they have 2 days in the weekend, sunday sunday sunday

NPCs' would be Really Cool From what i understand there are different types around some that attack only zombies/bandits and others that attack all ..either way i would be pretty cool to see a death squad rollin around

lately there is a trend to go crazy with adding things to a dayz server.
some things work out pretty good, others cause many problems, and others are just to "heavy" and rob the servers resources.
But this is one that I will look at, I'll test it and see how it works.
The halo jump is very buggy, But I'll check out the npc thing.

Haha that was part of the reason I left. Not the ambush, the one I was setting for the guy that killed us. Was flying with Ocelot (or may have been Chimera) in an incredibly lucky chopper find and I went to land it as I always do and it blew up.

I'm against this idea too.
I always feel the use of bots are used to bolster multiplayer games that lack a substantial community.
The main draw of this game was the fact that the only armed people where players and yours and their actions determined the outcome, survival or death, bots actions are predetermined, yes zombies are also predictable but this is dayz and the thought of not knowing if i was killed be a player or AI unsettles me.
Keeping things refreshed is great and drawing players to an area is great imo, wastelands does this by giving a placing automated items in random places but announcing them on the server I'm going to suggest doing this and will put my ideas forward.
Maybe add the apc area in a similar way, not permanent and it would be a good way to test other reactions to it, I.e newcomers wanting just the dayz experience.

To be honest with you you're kinda right but I realized that. In fact that's why I did. I play at midnight usually, when no one is on. So it's kinda self serving in that I never get to use all the fun hardware I find.
I want some difficulty other than seeing how long I can survive before I die from some crazy bug.

Dont worry I wasnt going to test it on main server

i would be nice to have ai on hunters den I would come back most definitely ive been busy lately but me and Milan had fun that one night with the mi-17 and I will never forget it
