Okay,

I'm pretty sure I've found what is causing people to randomly spawn in debug, and "die" upon logging in.

Its all happening because of the new antihack script (I was expecting some new bugs, this can be fixed easily)

I've found the part that is causing these problems. I'm making changes right now, I wont add the changes to the server until tomorrow (I could do it now, but would need to restart server and interrupt everyone's gameplay)

So please hang in there, its not happening to everyone. But for those who are suffering, it will be fixed t-mrrw, promise. IF anyone loses anything important, just write it down and let me know, I'll try to help.

I was pretty certain we would encounter some new bugs. Simply because of what this antihack is trying to do when you log in. But so far I'm still very satisfied. Smile

These issues will be fixed and we can move on and focus on other things.

thanks everyone

Okay guys,

I've been testing the shit out of this. I dont think we will have anymore log in problems. (these problems arose when we started using the new antihack, it was conflicting with some of the older fixes)

There are a few things that still may happen.......BUT THESE ARE NOT BIG PROBLEMS.

1. If your a hero, your character may start swimming in the ground. DONT be alarmed, just relog right away......and all will be okay.

2. If your a hero, you may notice your character appear in debug, but then TP back to normal position. This can sometimes take 1-2 seconds if there is lag between server and your client. Again, dont be alarmed, just wait it out.

3. If your a hero, upon logging in, a message may appear on your screen that says "can't count magazines". No big deal, just ignore it.

**All this stuff is because of the diffrent things changed in this latest version of dayz. To fix alot of the problems we were having. ALOT of things were changed/fixed. The 3 things listed above are just some minor "side effects".

**If your ever in doubt of something, relogging can fix alot of things. So always try that the moment you think something is wrong.

So, I think we will be in pretty good shape now. as always, let me know if you notice anymore bugs.

thnx guys

bump, I want everyone to see this.

Also, I'm slowly figuring out the problems that occur each night around 1-2 am (server time)
Anyone who was online last night knows I restarted around 1:30 am I have a few reasons why I want to change our normal restart times.

So for now, instead of the normal "8:30 PM restart" , it will be 7:30 PM.

and 2:30 AM......2:30 PM will now be 1:30 AM......1:30 PM

I've discovered some of the issues (hopefully all the issues), are because of the map cleanup script that runs each night around midnight.

thnx guys

I've tested this so many times, so many different ways. I've fixed all the things that I could identify as a problem, or possible problem.

I can no longer reproduce the problems that some are reporting. Trying very hard, but I'm not experiencing any bugs.

So I'm asking for your guys help. If you have encountered any problems while being a hero, I need you to start paying close attention to what your doing when it happens. (or before it happens, ie. how you log out)

(even little things that may not seem worth mentioning. at this point ALL information is important)

I'm still working hard on it, but I've hit a spot where I can no longer find any problems......or even reproduce the problem when I'm trying to.

thanks guys, just wanted to ask that you pay close attention.....and try to discover what happens before you experience the problem.

Okay, just like I said in the "hero skin" thread (general discussion)

Fixed alot of stuff with the anithack, it should work better now.

**You will no longer need to click "continue" after the scan is complete (as long as the scan finds no bad content) <---this was part of the log in issues, causing some desync

**If bad content is found, it will still pop up.....and log it for me

I hope this will get things stable again.

Please post any problems somewhere on the forum, or just PM me

thnx
