Local Weapon Equivalent Suggestions

I think we should have more local Chernarussian and Russian weapons in the server. These are the ones I think are equivalents (in some format) to the Western weapons.

Local Basic Weapons
AKS-74 PSO - Similar to M16 with ACOG scope


RPK - Similar to MG36


AKS-74UN Kobra - Similar to M4A1 CCO SD


Special Weapons
SVD No Camo - Not too sure which Sniper I could compare this to as it is pretty unique but it would be nice to find a non-camo version that is a little less rare.

RPK is like my favorite LMG of all time. If I had access to it it would be all I'd carry.

I'm going to go check and see which of these I could ass easily, which would take some work, and see if any are impossible due to dayz_code client bans.

scotts suggestion-
this would work no doubt on a different map pack. each map pack loads with a different set of files for the client

but our beloved chernarus falls into a different category. all the other maps take care of some of the annoying dayz_code bans. in fact alot of them have zero weapon/vehicle bans.

besides what we currently find in vanilla dayz. the list of unbanned weapons/vehicles is very very small.

its the whole reason for the creation of rmod. rmod just loads your dayz chernarus files without any weapon bans.

however, even a few tht are banned in the coding, are still able to be spawned into the game.

it comes down to just trial and error. I'll have to ck and see what works. only way to use stuff that is banned in the coding is to use rmod, or I could create a new config. file. teach everyone where to put it in your client, and we could have more freedom that way. (it would be alot like rmod)

We came to the conclusion that we would need client side mods to add them all. worth a shot though.
