*solved*Lost everything for nothing?

Hey skeet! I got off a an hour ago (Roughly 7 p.m eastern) and i got back on around 8:15 (Eastern) and i no longer have my scar 3 mags and a m9 with some food and drink. and i re spawned were you would after you die (Coastal Region). Im not sure what going on but i dont like it. Please get back to me.

here would of been the last character save sent to the database from that specific character last sent at : 2013-03-30 17:00:45

Nobody has ever reported their characters not saving, it can always be traced back to something. So you'll have to give me some time to look into it.

Any information will help, and make me finding a solution/cause quicker.

the only explanation I can figure at this time, is a death that maybe you were not totally aware of.


edit- I'm going to watch close, and maybe I can catch whatever is happening. Because everything is working properly, at least for all the other current characters.

I've had the server eat minor things off of me (mostly hunger and hydration if you eat within 2 minutes of logging it takes the item and leaves the old status not sure if it does the same with bleeding etc.) and I've lost things to the coast on other servers but I haven't had this issue here. I can vouch for the loadout he had we found a heli crash with 2 scars and a couple Mg36s.

and it did in fact die.

yes, I'll agree. if you pick something up 1-2 minutes before a restart, then you run a risk of it not properly saving. and your gear "backing up" to what it was before you picked it up.

same goes for picking things up and logging off right away. same risk.

but I've determined the character in question died. the time I posted above would of been close to the time of death.

Diggys report was he logged off, and when he logged back in he was on the coast with starting gear. This is because his old character died and his new character spawned in.

I've never had any database problems regarding character saves. People leave the server for a month......come back, and they are in the same place with same inventory.

But i restarted on the cost like what happend to ch3w and toogood

read taylors thread, i need anyone in NoFW who is having this issue to put clan tag at end of name. So I can determine the problem.

once I can determine the problem, then I'll look at fixing the damage.
