Info on upcoming rule

Okay, after thinking (alot) about this issue.

I've decided we will soon start and delete/respawn any vehicles/tents found further than 1500 meters from the EDGE of map. (EDGE = where grass, trees stop spawning) (1500 meters is what we will start with, this may change later after some testing)

So just use waypoints to guesstimate (guesstimate did not show up as a misspelled word? lmao) how far you are off map.

I really like Trog's idea about placing some random buildings around out there, it would force anyone scouting in a plane/chopper to either land.....or drop teammates.
So I would really like to mess around with this.

To anyone with stuff out there now.......DONT BE ALARMED
I'm going to give everyone plenty of time to move their stuff. Once I'm comfortable everyone is aware of the NEW RULE, and had time to move..........then we will start enforcing this.

Please keep posting your opinions and ideas, without your guy's help, this stuff would be way to hard to decide.

So never be shy, say w/e you think. We all have to play here, and enjoy the server. So when it comes to new rules, its always nice to have the entire community involved.

I always said "I hate too many rules".

But this subject was decided only after a lengthy community discussion.

If it doesnt work out, we will go back to how it is now.

When does this rule come into play ?

Skeeter have you started deleting things yet? because in less than 6 hours 2 of my friends and jeter have all lost at least 1 chopper each in the outside of map. I hate to call hacks but if you didn't delete it than we may have another esp/hacker. can you check it out, if it is legit than that is impressive, 4 choppers within 12 total hours of each other, all found and taken? lil suspicious. and a hummer. all more than 5k out.
just sayin.

is going on again... My chopper was deleted or blown up as well... 11km off map.

Im wonderin now if my lil birds are gone ....

Same here.....two different locations, lil bird and Mi17, have been there a week and within hours, poof, same time as everyone else's disappearance.

I didnt have a chance to be on long last night anyone have an idea around what time they noticed maybe we can pinpoint who was online and what time .....

My crew logged 130ish. After then...

well thatll give skeeter an idea who was on and who to watch

was a database problem
our host migrated our entire database to a more efficient server
in the process some vehicles were deleted, some were even "respawned" in different locations
we even had 2 extra Hueys show up on the map

still getting it all sorted out. I've talked to some of you via PM to go over what was missing.
some ppl's stuff were legitly found, and some were deleted because of the DB problem

anyone who hasnt already, please PM me if you need to.
please include some info on what you had/lost.......approx. location.......and what it was

we will get it all fixed

this rule is not being enforced yet......I want everyone to see it, and have time to come up with some new hiding spots for there toys

Would it be possible to Atleast give a time frame for when it will come into play. Will give people an idea when they will have to have everything moved by.

Glad it was a data base problem and not a scripter. I have not made it to my tent yet due the the fact I had to walk out of the wasteland but.
What I am missing is a MH-6J. Unknown if this went missing due to the database issue or was found.
Contents besides 6 jerry cans are unknown.. Actually can't remember past the six.
I'd like to restate I appreciate the time and effort you put into admin'in your server.
